After his retirement from active practice, Dr. Bergman wrote his first Bernie Roper fiction novel, “When the Dream Becomes a Nightmare”, followed by a book of poetry, “Sometimes the Heart Sees Things the Eyes Cannot”. After publishing his autobiography, “If it’s Not Illegal Immoral or Fattening, Say Yes”, he wrote another three novels in the Bernie Roper series.
He is currently working on two new novels, one self-help book, and a television series.
On the lighter side, he published a book of poetry entitled, “The Heart Sees Things the Eyes Cannot” and his three Bernie Roper mystery series. His latest novel, “Draining the Swamp” follows, “When the Dream Becomes a Nightmare” and “Revenge is Best Savoured Slowly”
